About Results 4 Horses
Results 4 Horses was founded in 2009 by Personal Trainer/ Sports Medicine Massage Therapist, Kym Jennings and TAE Cathy Vellacott. We became interested in using massage on animals, and specifically horses, as a result of the outstanding benefits that we witnessed over the years.
We witnessed firsthand the effectiveness of the therapy on our own horses; we decided to market our equine muscle therapy service in the local area with race horse trainers, eventing riders, dressage competitors, competition polo, endurance and western pleasure along with Rodeo competitors with calf roping and barrel racing. The results were amazing. Horses that had not finished in the money in over a year were winning, and horses that had been given up on were back working and racing competitively. The results were the same…horses were performing better than they had in years, and muscle injuries were healing faster, just like humans when top coaches use sports medicine techniques to recover and heal quicker than anyone else, it does work. So now everyone trainers, owners and riders were all interested in learning this wonderful “new” therapy.

How Kym Jennings came to use Niagara physiotherapy products
My parents purchased a Niagara massage chair and hand held physiotherapy massage unit in the early 80’s. I would put our dogs in the chair and go over them with the hand held unit, which they liked. I noticed a difference in one of our dogs, who had arthritis, and it seemed to improve her joint movement and she seemed to be free of pain, which I thought was good.
I then used the hand held unit on my personal training clients, where I found huge benefits in range of motion in muscle, improvement in recovery from workouts. Why ? all this is due to stimulating blood and oxygen to muscles, so it aids in repair to muscles. Once again I could see major changes and improvements so kept using the hand held unit.
Then someone dumped 2 horses on us, which were very nervous so I had the bright idea to use the hand held Niagara unit on them, which improved their nervous disposition, they also appeared to have more free movement in the shoulder and hamstrings so I kept doing this with them, and I was very pleased with their progress all round.
Just goes to show that the product does work even back then in the 80’s I have noticed that the hand held unit looks the same back then.
